Ros Brandt
President, Brandt Resources
Roslyn Brandt is President of Brandt Resources, a Marketing, Management
and Presentation Skills Training firm organized to support the Design, Real
Estate, and Construction communities. The firm was incorporated in 1988.
Prior to starting her own firm, she was a Vice President of Salomon Brothers
Inc.'s Facilities Department, and Director of the Columbus Center Headquarters
Project in New York. From 1976 through 1986, she was Senior Principal and
Managing Director of the HOK Interiors Group and was a member of the Board
of Directors of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum Architects. She was responsible
for steering the growth of the HOK Interiors Group to the fourth largest interiors
firm in the nation. Her initial experience in design in the United States began
in San Francisco with Gensler & Associates Architects as Project Designer
and Associate with the firm, from 1969 to 1976. Brandt's broad and in-depth
experience is renowned in the industry and noted by her peers. She has been a
national spokesperson for improving the quality of service and professionalism
in the design community. Her work has been published extensively in many
prominent trade publications. She frequently lectures at major universities
and industry events on issues facing the design community. She is also a
guest lecturer each year at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
Brandt is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects and
previously chaired the National AIA Interiors Committee. She is also a member
of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the International Facility
Management Association (IFMA); CoreNet; and WX (New York Women
Executives in Real Estate).
